How to choose which notifications you get
Open Settings and look under Notifications. Push Notifications shows whether they’re on; tap it to fix them. Turn off Feed Notifications to quiet posts and comments without missing pickups. Turn on Email Notifications to get an email when you’re asked to do a pickup, then confirm the address.
Where to find it
- Settings
- Notifications
Who can do this
Everyone, for their own phone and email.
Step by step
Open Settings. Settings opens from your own picture at the top left of the screen.
Under Notifications, check Push Notifications says On. If it says Blocked, tap it, then Open Settings, and turn on Allow Notifications for Kid Pickup.
Want fewer? Turn off Feed Notifications. Pickup notifications aren’t affected.
Want emails too? Turn on Email Notifications.
Open the email “Confirm your email for Kid Pickup”, tap Confirm this address, then Yes, confirm.
What happens next
- Emails cover only what you can answer: being asked to do a pickup, or one that still needs someone. Never chat or the feed.
Good to know
- Notifications can be late or missed, by your phone or the network, so check the app for anything that matters.
- Signed in with Hide My Email? The confirmation goes to that Apple address.
