How to pass a pickup on, or let it go
Open the pickup you have and tap Ask someone else to take this. Choose a person, or Ask everyone. You’re taken off it, and they’re asked to accept or decline. To simply let it go, tap Cancel My Assignment. Either way the family is told it needs someone.

Who can do this
Whoever has said “I’ll do it” to the pickup.
Step by step
Open the pickup. It says You’re doing this one.
Tap Ask someone else to take this.
Tap a person’s name, or Ask everyone.
Or tap Cancel My Assignment, then Yes, Cancel, to let it go without asking anyone in particular.
What happens next
- The family gets “Needs someone: Ash can no longer do the pickup for Lily on Thursday”, with an I’ll do it button.
- A person you asked by name gets their own notification to accept or decline.
- The nudges start again until someone takes it.
