How to say you can’t do a pickup

If you were asked by name, open the pickup and tap Decline, or tap Can’t make it on the notification. The family is told straight away, the pickup stays open for someone else, and you can change your mind with Actually, I can.

Anyone who can see the pickup and hasn’t taken it.

Step by step

Open the pickup you were asked to do. The card says You’ve been asked to do this one.
Tap Decline.
Or from the notification: press and hold it and tap Can’t make it.
Changed your mind? Open it and tap Actually, I can.

What happens next

The family gets “Can’t make it: Grandma can’t do the pickup for Lily on Thursday”, with buttons for someone else to take it.
The pickup stays open and the nudges keep going until someone says “I’ll do it”.

Good to know

Saying no never takes a pickup away from anyone.
Already said “I’ll do it” and now can’t? Pass it on or let it go instead.
