What the “This overlaps” warning means
When you save a pickup or event and the same child already has something within an hour that day, Kid Pickup shows This overlaps with what it clashes with. Tap Change this one to fix it, Open it to look at the other one, or Create anyway to save both.

Who can do this
Anyone adding or editing a pickup or event.
Step by step
Fill in the form and tap Create Event (or Add to Calendar, or Save Changes when editing).
If a child already has something within an hour, This overlaps lists it, with the child’s name and time.
Tap Open it to look at the other one. Going back keeps everything you typed.
Tap Change this one to go back and change the time or day.
Or tap Create anyway (Save anyway when editing) if both really are happening.
Good to know
- This is about a child’s own schedule. A clash with someone’s work hours is a different warning: see work conflicts.
- Pickups that are done or called off don’t count.
