How to add your work hours and see work conflicts
Open Settings, then Work Schedule. Tick your work days and set the hours, or read them from a photo, PDF or pasted roster, and tap Save Work Schedule. When an open pickup falls while you’re at work, Kid Pickup shows it, with Ask the family and It’s fine.
Where to find it
- Settings
- Work Schedule
Who can do this
Anyone can save work hours. Conflicts are shown to the family owner, parents and guardians.
Step by step
Open Settings. Settings opens from your own picture at the top left of the screen.
Under Family, tap Work Schedule.
Under Select work days, tick each day you work. Tap a day to set its Start and End.
Or, under Read your roster, check your name as the roster writes it, then tap Paste, Take a photo, Choose a photo or PDF, and check the hours it found.
Tap Save Work Schedule.
When a pickup nobody has falls in your hours, a banner on Events says so. Tap Review, then Ask the family or It’s fine.
What happens next
- Ask the family marks the pickup urgent and sends everyone a “Can you help?” notification with an I’ll do it button.
- It’s fine hides that warning until the pickup moves.
Good to know
- A pickup someone has already said “I’ll do it” to is never a conflict.
- Kid Pickup allows 30 minutes to get there: finishing work at 3:00 clashes with a 3:15 pickup.
- The banner covers the next seven days. A roster that changes weekly gives its first week, so read the next one when it changes.
