How to choose a plan, start the free trial, or cancel
One subscription covers your family: grandparents, sitters and the other parent never pay. To choose a plan, open Settings and tap Manage Subscription, pick Family or Premium, monthly or yearly, and confirm with Apple. To cancel, use your iPhone’s Settings: your name, then Subscriptions.
Where to find it
- Settings
- Subscription
- Manage Subscription
Who can do this
The family owner, or a parent or guardian, pays for the family.
Step by step
Open Settings. Settings opens from your own picture at the top left of the screen. The Manage Subscription row shows your plan or how many trial days are left.
Tap Manage Subscription.
Under Choose your plan, tap Family or Premium, monthly or annual.
Tap the button underneath. It says Start 2 weeks free when Apple’s free trial applies, otherwise Subscribe. Confirm with Apple.
New phone? Tap Restore Purchases at the bottom.
To cancel: open the iPhone Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then Kid Pickup.
What happens next
- Everyone in your family gets the plan straight away. Nobody else needs to pay.
Good to know
- Every new family gets 14 days to look around free, with nothing to pay to start.
- Family covers 2 children and up to 3 helpers. Premium has no limit on children, room for up to 8 people, the AI assistant and a chat on each pickup. See pricing.
- Deleting your account doesn’t cancel your Apple subscription. Cancel it in Settings too.
