How to delete your Kid Pickup account

Open Settings and, under Account, tap Delete Account, then confirm twice. If you’re the family’s owner, the whole family is deleted. If you’re a member, the family stays, your posts and comments go, and upcoming pickups you’d taken go back to the family. Cancel your Apple subscription separately.

Step by step

Open Settings. Settings opens from your own picture at the top left of the screen.
Scroll to Account and tap Delete Account.
Tap Delete Account again to confirm.
Tap I understand, delete my account. You’re signed out.

What happens next

If you own the family, the family and everything in it is deleted for everyone. The others keep their own logins.
If you’re a member, the family carries on. Your posts, comments and reactions are deleted, and pickups you’d taken that are still to come go back to open.

Good to know

Deleting your account doesn’t cancel an Apple subscription: cancel it in the iPhone Settings app, under your name, Subscriptions.
Reset App Data is different: it only clears this phone.
