How to add a whole schedule from a photo, PDF or email

Open Events, tap Import, then Paste or Photo a Schedule. Paste the schedule and tap Read it, or take or choose a photo or a PDF. Choose who the dates are for, untick any you don’t want, and tap Add to the calendar. Each one is added as an open pickup.

Step by step

Open the Events tab, tap Import, then Paste or Photo a Schedule.
Paste the schedule into the box and tap Read it. Or tap Take a photo, Choose a photo or Choose a PDF. Reading can take up to a minute.
Under Who are these for?, tap the children, if the schedule didn’t say.
Untick anything you don’t want. Tap an entry to fix it in the form; ones with a gap say so.
Tap Add to the calendar. Each entry says Added once it’s in.

What happens next

Each one is added as an open pickup, and the family gets a notification for it, so someone can say “I’ll do it”.

Good to know

Only dates still to come, with a time, are picked up.
A very large PDF can’t be read. Take a photo of the page instead.
The schedule is read by an AI service to find the dates; nothing is added until you tap Add.
